Workshop Fitter / Mechanical Fitter (Valves)

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 plus extensive training and development, progressions, rota day scheme, up to an additional 12 days leave, 33 days holiday, additional 5 holiday days per year, 8% pension, sick pay, life assurance, employee assistance programme, eye tests.

Location: Workshop based, commutable from Alloa, Glasgow, Stirling, Clackmannan, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Dunfermline and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter with valve experience who wants to join a globally recognised engineering specialist. You will be involved in the overhaul, service and maintenance of valves, with extensive industry‑leading training, further progression opportunities and a good work‑life balance.

• Overhaul and maintenance of valve based equipment
• Accurate on‑time completion of equipment repair within strict timescales
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Extensive training and development to become an expert in your field across a range of equipment
• Clear and exciting routes for long‑term progression

• Good communicator and team player
• Looking for training, development and long‑term progression in a site‑based role
• Experience working on a range of valves

Salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
