HGV Technician

We are representing a well-established commercial vehicle dealer group in Inverness, Highland, seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician for their busy dealership. • Up to £40,000 per annum, salary dependent on experience and shift patterns

• Conduct major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles
• Undertake regular inspections and preventive maintenance services
• Maintain workshop inventory and ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Assist diagnosis and plan repairs in collaboration with repair teams
• Complete and maintain accurate repair and service records
• Process warranties and escalates claims when necessary as a HGV Technician
• Perform wheel alignment and tyre fitting tasks
• Complete all relevant documentation efficiently within set time frames
• Work proactively to meet the needs of customers and the business

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• At least 1 to 2 years of practical post-qualification experience
• Strong commitment to producing high-quality work in a busy environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach
• Motivated to meet team targets and achieve excellence
• Individuals with an HGV driving licence will be viewed favourably but it is not essential
