Industrial Machine Operator – $22 per hour Penmac is hiring full-time Industrial Machine Operators for a local manufacturing facility in Independence. These temp-to-hire positions work in the Rotary, Spiral, and Calendar production areas that make hydraulic hose products.

Pay and Schedule $22 per hour

Full-time, Monday through Friday Train on first shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the first week

Move to third shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. after training

Overtime as needed

Requirements for the Industrial Machine Operator Able to work in extreme heat Standing and walking on concrete for up to 12 hours

Frequent lifting of 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.

Repetitive bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, and pulling

Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math

Able to follow written and verbal instructions

Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical abilities testing

Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred

PPE required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal-guard steel-toed shoes

Industrial Machine Operator Responsibilities Operate equipment such as PB Cover Wrap, extruders, Calendar machines, Rotary, and PB Pack Monitor machines and adjust settings to maintain production quality

Take accurate measurements and maintain close tolerances

Follow all safety procedures and work with the team to meet production goals
