Student Clerk - Quick Care

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support for front desk reception duties for checking in and checking out the patient.
• Includes high volume public contact, use of multi-tasking skills, and the ability to answer multi-line phones on a consistent basis involving internal and external customers.
• Copying/scanning/uploading patient documentation into electronic medical record.
• Gathers demographic data information and enters into the hospital EPIC system.
• Clinical site support for patient care.
• Communicates clearly.
• Ability to stand for longer periods of time.
• May work EPIC work queues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Any combination of clerical office experience, undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to one year of full-time employment.

• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience with customer service
• Pass a Criminal Background Check
• Experience with direct patient contact
• Need to be available to attend one EPIC training course as part of onboarding. This is offered every other Friday from 8AM-12PM

• Availability between 7AM - 7PM Monday - Friday
• Availability between 7AM - 5PM Saturday and Sunday
• Must be able to commit to 1 weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday 7AM - 5PM)
• Flexibility to cover holes or vacation requests
• Must be able to work at all locations
