Water​/Wastewater Team Leader

An established employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Team Leader to support continued growth within its water and wastewater practice.

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of water/wastewater professionals
• Oversee planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and stakeholders
• Support business development efforts, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives
• Provide technical leadership, quality control, and project oversight
• Partner with senior leadership to expand service offerings and strengthen market presence

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
• PE license (or ability to obtain Iowa licensure)
• 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
• Experience managing projects, clients, and technical teams
• Strong understanding of water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment systems
• Proven business development and client relationship experience
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
