Growing Mid-West firm looking to add Electrical Engineer to their Iowa City office! This position has a focus on the public and private markets. There is an opportunity to work directly with the client. ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and overview of process controls, emergency power, contaminate control and structural design and design of electrical systems, controls and SCADA systems to code requirements. Research for commercially available equipment and specify equipment needs based on project and available technologies. Calculates costs and time schedules for proposed work while monitoring costs throughout all phases of the design project. Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, clerical and equipment suppliers.

Recommend changes and/or improvements that result in less production costs while maintaining and organizing addendum information. Determine project scope, personnel involved, coordinate and work with assigned personnel on project. Conduct periodic job site observations and all other services as required by the contract services agreement. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 5 plus years experience P.E. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings. Skill in the use of Microsoft programs and CAD software.
