We are seeking a Senior/ Principal Electrical Engineer with strong experience in industrial power distribution systems supporting large-scale manufacturing facilities. This role will focus on medium and low voltage electrical systems, power system studies, protective relay coordination, and electrical infrastructure reliability within food & beverage production environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in facilities such as Nestlé, Pepsi Co, Cargill, Dine Brands, or other industrial manufacturing operations where electrical system reliability and compliance with industry standards are critical.
Location: Remote (Quarterly Onsite Visits Required)
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 (depending on experience level
Key Responsibilities- Experience in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing Industry
- Design, analyze, and support medium voltage (4.16kV, 12.47kV, up to 35kV) and low voltage (208V, 480V) power distribution systems.
- Perform and review electrical engineering studies including:
- Load flow studies
- Electrical system assessments
- Develop and implement protective relay coordination studies and relay settings.
- Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot protective relays and associated equipment.
- Support electrical infrastructure including:
- Switchgear
- Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
- Transformers
- Distribution systems
- Work with S&C Electric equipment and switching solutions within industrial environments.
- Ensure compliance with IEEE standards
, electrical codes, and industry best practices. - Partner with operations, maintenance, and project teams to improve power system reliability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership for electrical capital projects, upgrades, and facility expansions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering environments.
- Experience with medium voltage systems (4.16kV, 12.47kV, up to 35kV).
- Experience with low voltage systems (208V and 480V).
- Strong background in:
- Power system analysis
- Relay coordination
- Protective relay programming
- Experience with Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and industrial power distribution systems.
- Hands-on experience with S&C switches/equipment

. - Experience supporting industrial or manufacturing facilities.
