Salary Range: $66,060.80 – $82,846.40 (starting wage contingent upon experience)
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Job Summary:
Prepares, maintains, and updates collections, maintenance and service system maps, plats, graphics, statistics, web applications and presentation materials with extensive use of geographic information systems (GIS). Use global positioning system (GPS) instruments to collect utility infrastructure data and train others in the use of basic GPS data collection. Under general direction, consolidate inspection and video data of wastewater construction including subdivision and site plan projects for conformance with pipeline inspection standards.
Participate in construction plan reviews. Tracks all aspects of wastewater and stormwater asset inspection and work history.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other:
Associate's degree from an accredited educational institution and two years of related experience; or four years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in GIS, Civil/Construction Engineering Technology, or related. Experience working with GIS and GIS web app development. Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience; or five years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
