Position: Environmental Aide Nursing Assistant - Vascular and Neuroscience Acute and Intermediate Care Unit (2RC) - 100% - Days
University of Iowa -  - Responsibilities:
Communicates with patients, visitors, and other health care professionals in an effective manner and maintains positive, cooperative relationships;
Implements the plan of care under the direction of the registered nurse, providing appropriate care with regard to patient’s condition and age;
Observes patients for changes in physical condition throughout their stay, and reports to registered nurse;
Assembles equipment and supplies in preparation for various diagnostic or treatment procedures performed by nurses or physicians;
Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality and adheres to standard infection control policies
