The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 60% to 100% (24 to 40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Holiday Road and North Dodge Pediatric Clinics. This position will mainly support our Holiday Road and North Dodge Pediatric Clinics but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations. For over 100 years, Iowa Healthcare’s primary focus has been the health and wellness of our patients.
We provide care for pregnancy, baby wellness, vaccinations, school and athletic physicals, acute visits, annual check-ups, mental health, on-site laboratory services, and more. Our team builds relationships with patients, monitors their care history, and delivers personalized, compassionate care to every patient. When a patient needs specialty care, our family medicine provider connects them with the appropriate UI Health Care specialist, ensuring a seamless experience by sharing your medical records.
To Include
- Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
- Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
- In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
- Current valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy Standards

Percent of Time: 60% - 100% (24 - 40 hours per week)Schedule: Variable hours Monday - Friday between 7:30 am - 7:00 pm, standard hours will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, limited, rotating weekends, no holidays or on-call time.
Location: Iowa City, IA and Coralville, IA (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)
Pay Grade: 11
Salary: $45,455.76 - $67,713.84 (at 100% time) Hourly: $21.77 - $32.43 (based on years of experience)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
