? Bright Star Care of Iowa is hiring CNAs for in-home care in Iowa City, North Liberty, Coralville and surrounding areas.

Work one-on-one with clients in their homes - no facility setting, no rushed care. Just meaningful, personalized service that makes a real difference every day.

As a Bright Star Care CNA, you will deliver skilled personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Duties include:

• Personal hygiene and ADL assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration)
• Safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Catheter care and ostomy care (as trained)
• skin integrity monitoring
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care
• Post-hospital and post-surgical recovery care
• Documenting and reporting changes in patient condition to supervising RN
• Companionship and emotional support

• Current CNA certification in good standing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• 1+ year of CNA experience preferred (home care, nursing home, hospital, or assisted living)
• Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow written and verbal care plan instructions
  Must be able to confidently read, write, and understand spoken English
