University of Iowa - - Responsibilities: patrol assigned areas to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff; control and monitor access in and out of university buildings and monitor burglar and fire alarm systems; provide general assistance to patients, information, parking, traffic control, wheelchair assistance; assist with Visitor Management Program and Guest Services to meet regulatory requirements;
conduct fire safety reporting, maintain access to fire exits and extinguishers; record and report all damage for repairs to Engineering Services; respond to violent encounters and medical emergencies, fires, and routine calls for service; liaison to UIPD in conducting investigations and regulatory reporting
