The selected individual will be involved in creating, designing, and implementing mobile applications, specifically for Android. • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• A degree in Computer Science, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development.
• Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
