• The client is seeking a highly skilled Sr. UI/UX Developer / Architect / Design Engineer with strong experience in enterprise design systems, front-end development, and web accessibility.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and implementing design systems from scratch, developing reusable UI components, and ensuring applications meet WCAG 2.1/AAA and Section 508 accessibility standards. Excellent technical communication skills are essential.

• Build, document, and maintain enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries using USWDS or similar frameworks.
• Develop accessible and reusable UI components using Angular, HTML, and SASS/SCSS.
• Ensure UI components comply with WCAG 2.1/AAA and Section 508 requirements.
• Use Storybook
  ** for component development, documentation, and collaboration.
• Apply semantic HTML, ARIA, keyboard accessibility, and accessibility testing practices.
• Conduct code reviews, accessibility audits, and UX reviews.
• Collaborate with development teams and provide guidance on design systems and accessibility best practices.
• Support multiple enterprise applications and ensure consistent, accessible user experiences.

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong experience building enterprise design systems from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, and SASS/SCSS.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/AAA, Section 508, ARIA, and semantic HTML.
• Experience with Storybook and reusable component libraries.
• Strong understanding of UX and accessible UI design principles.
• Experience with USWDS or similar enterprise design systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with .NET, MVC, and SQL
• Understanding of front-end and backend integration in a .NET environment.

• The ideal candidate is a strong UI/UX and front-end professional with deep Design System and Accessibility expertise who can work independently, communicate clearly with technical teams, and help organizations build accessible, scalable, and reusable UI solutions.
