Tax Manager

BAC Certified Public Accountants is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing team in Dyersville, Iowa. This is an opportunity for an experienced tax professional who wants to do more than prepare returns. You'll work directly with clients, provide strategic tax planning, mentor team members, and play a meaningful role in the future growth of the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and tax research projects
  • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor and support junior tax staff
  • Research tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and team members

    Assist with workflow management and engagement deadlines
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal team members
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and committed to professional growth
