Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

McGrath Family of Dealerships is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable
Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting vendor relationships, and ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.

• 1–3 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience preferred
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting procedures
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Familiarity with general office procedures, including filing and scanning documents
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and accuracy

• Review, verify, code, and post invoices in multiple accounting systems
• Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and obtain required approvals prior to processing
• Process high-volume invoices from multiple dealership locations accurately and efficiently
• Prepare invoices for payment and perform check runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and various payable accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies
• Respond professionally to vendor and internal inquiries while maintaining accurate vendor records
• Support the accounting department with additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned
