About the RoleThe Controller is a senior financial leadership role responsible for overseeing TMG’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and financial systems. This role serves as a key leader in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s financial information while building scalable accounting processes that support continued organizational growth.
This position will maintain oversight of the Company’s day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany accounting and consolidations, revenue recognition, cash flow, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination. The Controller will also provide executive leadership with timely financial analysis and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on financial leader with strong accounting, reporting, compliance, and team leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the Company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, including team performance, coaching, process development, and adherence to accounting best practices.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting principles and Company policies.
- Prepare and own the monthly consolidation across all Company and affiliated entities, including consolidating schedules, intercompany elimination entries, equity and investment eliminations, and supporting work papers sufficient to withstand audit review.
- Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes, monitor performance against budget, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for cost control and financial improvement.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity planning to support operational needs, including monitoring cash positions, investments, financing arrangements, and anticipated funding requirements.
- Provide financial oversight of billing and revenue cycle activities, including trip and claims billing accuracy, payor and broker remittance reconciliations, denials, write-offs and rate adjustments, collections escalation, and accounts receivable aging and reserve analysis.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously evaluate internal controls designed to safeguard Company assets, support financial integrity, prevent fraud, and maintain compliance with applicable financial requirements.
- Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including review of customer, payor, and broker arrangements, identification of performance obligations, variable consideration and rate adjustments, and the related accrual, deferral, and disclosure processes, and maintain written revenue recognition policies and supporting documentation.
