Receptionist - Full Time

Pay Range: $16-19/hr

Job Description

Leora, a dual diagnosis outpatient program, is hiring for a full‑time receptionist. The receptionist performs a variety of secretarial and clerical support duties for the facility, ensuring the timely, efficient, and organized flow of operations for the program. Duties may include, but are not limited to, computer word processing, use of medical information systems, typing with speed and accuracy, establishing and maintaining a filing system, and handling medical terminology, business correspondence, and confidential information.

The role requires working independently with minimal supervision, dealing with sensitive, flexible, and mature interactions with mentally ill clients.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include maintaining a smooth workflow, handling confidential information, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with office supply ordering and inventory.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills that regularly exceed expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to problem‑solve and work with minimal direction/oversight
  • Computer experience and typing speed of 65 wpm
  • Office supply ordering and inventory experience preferred
  • Word and Excel experience
  • Professional attire and demeanor
  • Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience, preferably in a health care/hospital setting
