Overview

Kemna Quick Lane in Algona is hiring a Quick Lane Service Technician. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, learn new skills, and be part of a team that keeps customers moving. This is a hands-on role working with vehicles to help customers stay safe on the road and build automotive experience in a fast-paced shop.

• Performing oil changes and basic maintenance services
• Completing multi-point vehicle inspections
• Checking tires, fluid levels, filters, belts, hoses, and more
• Replacing oil filters, air filters, and other maintenance items
• Lubricating moving parts as needed
• Spotting needed repairs or safety concerns
• Communicating with service advisors so customers get the right information
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and ready to go
• Working with a team that stays busy and gets things done

Previous lube tech, shop, or automotive experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

This job keeps you moving. You’ll be standing, bending, lifting, working around vehicles, and occasionally dealing with Iowa weather. You may lift 20 to 50 pounds at times and work around normal shop conditions like fumes, dirt, equipment, and chemicals.
