Position

Summary

The role of Sales Support Manager directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. The Sales Support Manager is responsible for ensuring the sales team operates efficiently and effectively. This role involves overseeing sales support functions, coordinating sales‑related activities, and streamlining processes to enable the sales team to focus on their primary tasks.

The Sales Support Manager manages customer inquiries, provides the sales team with necessary tools and information, and contributes to the achievement of sales targets. This position facilitates smoother operations within sales departments, improves communication, and enhances customer service. Experience with in the renewable energy sector—particularly wind, solar, or hybrid energy solutions—is strongly preferred, as the role supports projects and proposals specific to renewable wind energy markets and technologies.

What

You’ll Do
  • Manage daily operations of sales support functions, including RFP response, data collection and analysis, and report preparation.
  • Support all steps of the production of sales proposals, RFPs, presentations, client presentations, and other internal and external support materials.
  • Manage and optimize the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to ensure sales teams have access to all project and customer data.
  • Maintain a library of relevant commercial documents like proposals, cost reports, etc., and manage all non-disclosure agreements (NDA) between customers and Legal.
  • Review customer RFPs and determine necessary requirements for proposal content and adjust accordingly.
  • Initiate all cost requisitions, ensure they align with customer requirements and requested schedules, and prepare customer quotations for the Sales Team.
  • Complete all wind and site (W&S) requests, including any follow‑up data needed from the customer, and organize all reports.
  • Populate economic models for relevant projects and present to the Sales Manager for review.
  • Support Gate 2 and 3 doc preparation, customer presentation preparation, quarterly sales deep dives, and any other support required.
  • Ensure relevant document templates are up‑to‑date to support the proposal process.
  • Engage in strong cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and Global sales to ensure alignment across complete sales processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Degree or coursework in renewable energy, environmental science, or sustainable technologies is a plus.
  • 2‑3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Prior experience supporting sales, commercial operations, or proposal development in the renewable energy sector is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of energy production/distribution and alternative energy solutions and regulatory framework.
  • Strong understanding renewable energy technologies, project life cycles, and commercial drivers in the clean energy industry.
  • Competence in MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • High integrity and motivation.
  • Understanding of intercultural issues in communication.
  • Proactive and result‑oriented approach with strategic and analytical skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn, self‑manage, and keep abreast of changing technical and regulatory issues independently.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport.
