OverviewThe Asset Equipment Specialist is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company based in our Corporate Office in New Hampton, IA. The Asset Equipment Specialist will manage our asset management platforms, to ensure accurate equipment visibility, device health, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have project management skills, equipment tracking experience, strong analytical and processing skills, and will be team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Experience in a construction-related field would be beneficial.

- Platform Administration
- Manage users, roles, and permissions.
- Configure and maintain asset records for equipment, vehicles, and tools.
- Maintain asset hierarchy, naming standards, and system structure.
- Generate and distribute key reports.
- Oversee integrations between other business platforms.
- Asset and Device Management
- Install, assign, and maintain GPS tracking devices.
- Develop, maintain, and improve asset tracking processes and standards.
- Monitor device health & troubleshoot issues internally and with vendors.
- Liaison between Operations, Mechanics, Accounting, and Tenna
- Train and support field personnel to ensure proper system use and compliance.
- Support safety and operational initiatives through data insight and system usage.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of asset data across all systems.
- Generate and distribute key reports.
- Analyze utilization, idle time, run hours, and asset movement.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work as this job description is non-exhaustive.
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen and drug test.
- Willing to work until 5 pm and sometimes outside normal business hours.
- PC proficiency (specifically Microsoft applications), strong Excel skills.
- High level of reasoning abilities (i.e., meet deadlines, prioritize company, and employee needs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with management, field operations, and co-workers professionally.
- Handle any sensitive information confidentially.
- Self-directed and motivated to exceed expectations.
- Be trainable – be open to learning new things and modifying processes to be the most efficient.
- Possess excellent communication skills and understand instructions in both written and verbal forms.
- Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
- A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.
- Overnight travel is not standard.
