Data Analyst
Northwestern College seeks a data and systems professional to join the Raiders’ institutional research department. The position is part-time (15-20 hours per week) with some scheduling flexibility. July 1 start is preferred.
ResponsibilitiesThe operations analyst works with the director of institutional research, computing services, and undergraduate and graduate admissions areas to optimize recruitment and financial aid systems (e.g., Salesforce, Informatica) for standout customer care of prospective and current students and for the capture of necessary and desired data. The analyst will provide data collection and analysis to inform decision‑making of the college’s admissions and financial aid teams.
The analyst will also collaborate with student workers engaged in data cleaning and oversee data imports.
- Experience with programming languages such as SQL, R or Python
- An ability to analyze quantitative data to identify patterns
- An ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to data confidentiality and data security best practices
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, a related field or relevant experience is required.
