Account Manager
, you are the primary point of contact for your clients, responsible for managing projects from concept through final installation. You serve as the bridge between clients, sales, design, production, shipping, and installation teams, ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Starting Your DayYou begin your morning by reviewing project schedules, production updates, installation timelines, and customer communications. With several projects in different stages of production, you prioritize your workload and identify any issues that require immediate attention.
You check emails, review artwork approvals, monitor shipping schedules, and prepare for customer meetings. Every day starts with a clear understanding of what needs to happen to keep projects moving forward.
Building Customer RelationshipsThroughout the day, you communicate with customers, exhibit houses, marketing teams, event coordinators, and internal departments to ensure everyone is aligned.
You answer questions, provide project updates, review specifications, coordinate schedules, and help customers navigate changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Success in this role is built on trust, responsiveness, and the ability to consistently exceed customer expectations.
Managing ProjectsAs projects move through production, you coordinate with:
- Graphic Production
- Print Operators
- Finishing
- Shipping & Logistics
- Purchasing
- Project Management
You verify artwork approvals, review production schedules, coordinate freight, and ensure materials arrive where they need to be - on time and ready for installation.
Every detail matters because your planning directly impacts the success of customer events.
Problem SolvingTrade shows and events operate on strict deadlines. Priorities change quickly, and unexpected challenges can arise.
You proactively identify potential issues before they become problems, whether it's adjusting production schedules, expediting shipments, coordinating reprints, or communicating schedule changes with customers.
Your ability to stay organized and remain calm under pressure is one of your greatest strengths.
