Responsibilities Include:- Site Leadership: Serve as the primary on‑site leader for projects, overseeing operations, safety, and quality standards.
- Project Management: Lead construction efforts on‑site, managing projects from $1M to $15M, including small and large‑scale projects concurrently.
- Team Supervision: Direct Foremen, subcontractors, and crew members, ensuring high‑quality work and adherence to project timelines.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary site contact, working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and the Project Manager to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
- Hands‑On Work: Occasionally work with hand tools and operate equipment (e.g., skid steers, trucks, trailers) to support project needs.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all safety regulations.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers from the office for paperwork support, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Field Reporting: Maintain accurate daily reports on field conditions, project progress, and any issues encountered.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Develop and manage construction schedules, coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and team members to optimize efficiency.
- Equipment Management: Oversee site logistics, equipment allocation, and resource management to maintain project flow.
- Meetings & Problem‑Solving: Conduct regular site meetings, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Experience: 10+ years in construction project management, with proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Experience with hospitals, schools, and large‑scale commercial construction preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. - Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills, capable of directing and motivating a team while ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
- Project Management: Ability to lead projects ranging from $1M to $15M and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands‑On
Skills:
Experience with hand tools and operating equipment (e.g., skid steers, trucks, trailers) is beneficial. - Certifications: OSHA certification, First Aid certification, and other relevant safety training preferred.
- Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders. - Problem‑Solving: Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, effectively troubleshoot, and provide timely solutions.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check.
