Utility Foreman

Overview

We are looking to add an Underground Utility Foreman to our team. Responsibilities include reading and understanding plans, coordinating site development plans with project managers, staging site materials and project setup, leading and managing on-site crews, and processing daily paperwork. The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and possess the ability to enforce these measures on-site.

Some infrastructure construction projects require in-state travel and overnight stays. A typical schedule is Monday–Friday but could vary based on project timelines. Saturday hours are occasional and based on demand.

The successful candidate will have five years of utility foreman experience and background working with storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water lines. All candidates must have the ability to show up to work on time, possess a strong work ethic, show a willingness to learn, and have a positive attitude. The selected candidate will be expected to acquire a Class A CDL within one year of employment.

Utility is a Division of Absolute Group that specializes in residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure construction. The Utility Division provides full site development, including sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and grading and earthwork. The Utility Division also offers a variety of groundwork services like trucking and hauling, basement excavation and backfill, finish grading and directional drilling.
