We are seeking an experienced Underground Utility Foreman to lead crews on site development and underground utility construction projects. This role is responsible for interpreting plans, coordinating project schedules, managing crews, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining safe and efficient job sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Read, interpret, and execute work from construction plans, site drawings, and utility layouts
• Coordinate daily and weekly schedules with project managers to ensure smooth project flow
• Manage site material staging, project setup, and equipment needs
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the on-site utility crew
• Ensure installation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water lines is completed to quality standards
• Process daily paperwork, logs, and reporting requirements accurately and on time
• Enforce OSHA-compliant safety standards and monitor jobsite conditions
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and crew members

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• Must obtain a Class A CDL within one year of employment
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Utility Foreman
• Strong background installing storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water utilities
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing field crews
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, utility plans, and specifications
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and ability to enforce site-level compliance
• Valid driver's license
