Location: Nevada

The Construction Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily field construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and the project schedule. This role provides direct, on‑site supervision of contractors and craft personnel during mine infrastructure and process plant construction, acting as the primary field interface between contractors, engineering, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture aligned with MSHA, Nevada regulations, and AGA safety standards.
  • Lead daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
  • Monitor contractor compliance with site safety plans and permit requirements.
  • Participate in incident investigations and support corrective action implementation.
Field Construction Supervision
  • Supervise daily construction activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical scopes as assigned.
  • Coordinate work sequencing and ensure alignment with the approved construction schedule.
  • Monitor contractor productivity, manpower, equipment usage, and quality of workmanship.
  • Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and work plans.
  • Identify and resolve constructability issues and field conflicts to minimize delays.
Quality & Inspection Support
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing activities, and sign‑off documentation.
  • Support turnover documentation, punch‑list closure, and readiness for commissioning.
Schedule, Cost & Reporting
  • Track daily progress against construction milestones and identify risks to the schedule.
  • Assist with monitoring construction costs, change orders, and field impacts.
  • Validate contractor time reporting, progress quantities, and equipment usage.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly field progress reports.
Coordination & Communication
  • Serve as the primary on‑site liaison among contractors, engineering, procurement, and project management.
  • Participate in coordination meetings, progress reviews, and planning sessions.
  • Communicate field issues proactively to support timely decision‑making and risk mitigation.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of MSHA requirements and Nevada construction regulations.
  • General understanding of mining operations in rural Nevada.
  • 5–10 years of field construction experience on mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, heavy equipment operations, and site logistics.
  • Ability to interpret civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Execute short‑term construction plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Experience overseeing earthworks, loading, hauling, and infrastructure construction activities.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams to execute short‑range plans.
  • Strong field leadership aligned with AGA values.
  • Ability to lead and direct contractors and internal field teams.
  • Effective communicator across construction crews, management, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Results‑driven, detail‑oriented, and willing to hold teams accountable.
  • Valid driver’s license required for travel to and from project sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
