An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects in the Caribbean. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator looking to work on large-scale civil engineering schemes while joining an experienced international management team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Review tender documentation, drawings and specifications.
• Assess project risks, opportunities and commercial considerations.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work closely with operational and commercial teams throughout the tender process.
• Prepare pricing submissions and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to value engineering and alternative construction methodologies where appropriate.

• Approximately 10+ years of estimating experience within civil engineering.
• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor or a large civil engineering subcontractor.
• Strong background pricing heavy civils or major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and work effectively to deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
