Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a friendly, helpful, and solution-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is central to delivering a positive resident experience and maintaining clear communication between tenants, vendors, and our internal team.

In this role you will help shape the voice and image of AXIS.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll serve as a key point of contact for residents and vendors. You'll handle incoming communication, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure that residents feel heard and supported throughout their experience with AXIS. An ideal candidate understands and displays empathy, urgency, and accountability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service over the phone, in-person, and through messaging
    • Answer calls, texts, and emails promptly and solve the problem or route them accordingly
    • Follow-up with residents and close loops on open requests
    • Assist and lead in proactive communication to all residents

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Communicate cross-departmentally to effectively resolve issues
  • Support onboarding, renewals, and general service needs
  • Design and execute projects to enhance customer experience
  • Support front desk as needed
  • Track feedback and flag issues that affect the resident experience and offer solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine interest in serving people and solving problems
  • High attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay composed under pressure
  • Experience in customer service, office coordination, or admin support preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn industry tools
  • Proficient in Spanish strongly preferred
