Join our team at the Anamosa State Penitentiary as a Dentist in the Health Services Unit.

• Triage patients, evaluate concerns, perform surgeries safe for a correctional setting, and evaluate and follow the process for a patient to receive dentures or partials.
• Refer patients to the UIHC oral surgery department when treatment cannot be provided on site.
• Prescribe medications when needed to treat patients.
• Answer O'mail messages, provide patient education based on assessments and with the assistance of the dental assistant, and assure proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
• Assist in determining supply needs and when equipment requires repair or replacement.
• Collaborate with the security team when scheduling patient appointments.

• Licensure as a dentist issued by the Board of Dental Examiners of the Iowa Department of Health.
