Wall Panel Designer

Energy Panel Structures Inc (EPS Buildings) seeks a Wall Panel Designer for our Engineering & Design department in the construction industry. In this role, you will produce accurate wall panel layouts, shop drawings, and material lists for energy-efficient residential, commercial, and agricultural buildings using structural insulated panels. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to interpret architectural plans, ensure code compliance, and deliver buildable, high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate wall panel layouts and shop drawings using CAD software
• Collaborate with Engineering & Design to ensure structural integrity and code compliance
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to create buildable panel designs
• Coordinate with Project Managers and production teams to resolve design issues
• Prepare material lists, cut lists, and documentation for manufacturing
• Review designs for quality, accuracy, and constructability
• Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable design practices in line with EPS standards
• Support project timelines by managing multiple design tasks and revisions
