The position is located at a large cancer center that is attached to a hospital facility. This comprehensive oncology program provides integrated inpatient and outpatient cancer care services. The facility maintains specialized treatment capabilities and coordinates care across multiple service locations including outreach sites.

The area offers regional attractions and outdoor recreation opportunities. Year-round activities include nature centers, walking tours, and museums that provide educational and cultural experiences. The region maintains active community engagement and volunteer-supported services.

The clinician provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services across inpatient and outpatient settings Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities include conducting 40-minute initial consultations and 20-minute follow-up appointments with patients requiring cancer and blood disorder treatment. The position involves managing 0-1 new consults daily with a total caseload of 10-15 patients per day, utilizing Epic EMR for documentation.

Call coverage requirements are negotiable, and the clinician serves outreach facilities in addition to the main cancer center location.
