Patient Population: Rural community; low-volume ED and inpatient population
Setting: Critical Access Hospital Emergency Medicine with Inpatient Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Emergency Department coverage with inpatient management (obs, acute, swing bed)
Required Procedures: Not specified
EMR System: Together Care (Epic)
Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 CNA;
Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy onsite
Days Per Month: Minimum 3 shifts per pay period
On-Call/Weekends: On-call required; weekends as needed
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified ABEM OR FP/IM with recent EM experience Required
- Active Iowa Medical License Required
- Clean malpractice & background with NPDB Self-Query (pulled within 30 days) Required
- Availability to cover listed open shifts Required
