  - 5 p.m.
  • Rounds in the morning
  • Rotational responsibility for managing hospital calls/consults every third day (9 a.m.
    
    - 5 p.m.)
• Job Description:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (with plans to test) in Psychiatry
  • Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up preferred
  • Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults (Not open to telehealth)
  • Average Patients Per Day: 5-12
  • Total Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents
  • Psychiatrists in Group: 1 part-time inpatient
  • Advanced Practice Providers: 2
  • Psychologists:
    None (inpatient)
  • EMR:
    Cerner
  • Trauma Level/Designation: III
  • Referral/Transfer Protocol:
    University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car
  • Safety/Security Measures:
    Security on each campus
  • Required Treatment Disorders:
    Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
  • Familiarity with:
    Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER
  • Not accepting visa candidates
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
