• Contribute to a growing practice by providing essential OB/GYN services on a sporadic, as-needed basis. This is a perfect opportunity for a physician seeking a flexible schedule.
• Utilize your expertise in both obstetrics and gynecology to manage a mix of low-risk and high-risk deliveries, complicated and routine cases.

Streamlined Schedule with Weekend Call:

• Maintain a flexible schedule with typical hours being Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
• Participate in weekend call (Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM) to ensure continuous patient care. Weeknight call coverage is also an option if you're interested.

Supportive Environment & Streamlined Systems:

• Benefit from a Level II facility with Cerner electronic medical records for efficient documentation.
• Our team prioritizes collaboration, offering support for deliveries while you're on call.

Ideal Candidate:

• Board certification in OB/GYN is mandatory.
• We seek a physician with a strong focus on gynecology, comfortable providing some obstetrical care as needed.
• The ability to perform gynecological surgeries during your coverage period is highly desirable.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) are preferred.
• An active Iowa state medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required.

Additional Information:

• Credentialing typically takes 35-40 days. The ideal candidate can start ASAP and offer coverage in July and August, with the possibility to extend through September.
