Location: Waukon
Health System is seeking a BC/BE Family Physician with a desire to practice medicine to the top of their licensure in a rural community in beautiful NE Iowa.
Job Overview- 1.0 FTE Family Medicine opportunity with flexibility to consider a 0.8 FTE schedule
- Full-spectrum Family Medicine practice (no Obstetrics)
- Potential opportunity for a four-day work week
- Current call rotation approximately 1:5
- Call responsibilities include inpatient rounding
- APCs participate in call rotation
- Average patient volume of approximately 14–17 patients per day
- 24/7 specialty consultation support available
- On‑site services include:
- Optometry
- Laboratory services
- Imaging services
- Collaborative, community‑focused rural practice environment
- Strong team culture and supportive practice setting

Area is located in the Northeast corner of Iowa in Allamakee County. This area has deeply carved river valleys, upward reaching bluffs and outdoor activities for all seasons. Waukon is located 20 minutes from Decorah, IA and 1 hour from La Crosse, WI.
