Responsibilities- Operate in a team with other clinic healthcare providers and support staff.
- Provide patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based, multi-specialty group practice.
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, including disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Treat acute illnesses and acute injuries.
- Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene.
- Request necessary tests, schedule follow-up visits, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Maintain proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care, ensuring accuracy of E/M coding and HCC coding (above 80% with a goal of 95%).
- Review and sign off on all patient charts in accordance with company policies to support productivity/PCN and VBC bonuses.
- Provide direction to both clinical and reception support staff.
- Perform a variety of tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude.
- Remain calm and effective in high-pressure and emergency situations.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Licensed in the state of New Jersey.
- Board certified or board eligible.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in area of practice (e.g., family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics).
- DEA controlled substances registration.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification.
- Successful completion of CHC’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate.
- Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel, and community members.
- Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
$225,000-$350,000 (first year based on level and percent of net collections).
