Aboutthe Clinician's Workday
Clinicians will provide outpatient radiation oncology services Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at this on-site facility in Iowa, with no formal call requirements; remote availability for side effect management via the hospital call system is expected. Daily responsibilities include managing 8-10 on-treatment patients per day, with a treatment volume ranging from 3 to 15 treatments per day. Treatment modalities delivered include external beam radiation therapy (SBRT, electrons, 3D, IMRT, FSRT) and radiopharmaceuticals including Pluvicto, Xofigo, and Lutathera, with treatment delivery supported by the Varian True Beam system.
Hospital privileges are required for this assignment, and board certification in Radiation Oncology and prescriptive authority are required.
