ACGC High School is seeking a motivated and student-centered High School Business Teacher for grades 9–12. The successful candidate will provide engaging, standards-based instruction that prepares students with essential business, financial literacy, and career-readiness skills.

• Teach secondary business courses such as Business Foundations, Personal Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Economics, and/or Business Technology.
• Develop and deliver lessons aligned with Iowa Core Standards and district curriculum.
• Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment that supports student learning.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.
• Participate in PLCs, professional development, and school activities.
• Communicate effectively with students and families.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Education or a related field.
• Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate secondary business endorsement(s).
• Knowledge of business concepts, financial literacy, and career readiness skills.
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction.

• Secondary teaching experience.
• Willingness to sponsor or assist with business-related student organizations.

• Contract and salary per the Guthrie Center master contract agreement.
