behavior interventionistthe interventionist role will be a key support for students and staff by leading the multi-tiered system of supports (mtss) process, serving as a data coach, and assisting with administrative tasks. The interventionist will collaborate with teachers to implement tiered academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions, ensuring that student needs are met through data-driven strategies. They will oversee progress monitoring, guide professional development, and use tools like iready to tailor instruction and improve outcomes.
Additionally, the interventionist will focus on addressing chronic absenteeism and behavior, working with families and staff to create effective intervention plans. By aligning their work with school goals, the interventionist will play a critical role in improving academic achievement, reducing absenteeism, and fostering positive student behavior.
under the general supervision of an administrator, a classroom teacher will implement school board policy regarding the educational curriculum of a particular instructional division and/or instructional unit. The teacher may teach one or more subjects.

any combination of education and experience in teaching would provide the required knowledge and skills. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills would be:
- education: bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with student teaching experience
- experience: three (3) years of verified contracted teaching experience with a bachelor's degree and the ability to obtain a valid teaching license in nevada
child development; behavior and characteristics of students; subject area and/or credential area of teaching (e.g., special education, math, science, etc.); effective teaching skills; planning and organizing; supervision and control; assessment and diagnosis; interpersonal relations.
