We are seeking a 6th grade teacher or a teacher with middle school endorsements for the  school year.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Appropriate teaching certificate.
• Ability to work with students, teachers, and parents.
• Alternative qualifications accepted as deemed appropriate by the board.

Building Principal

To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible citizens.

• Teach assigned classes and prepare instructional materials.
• Plan curriculum that meets individual student needs and interests.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to respectful, productive learning.
• Encourage and maintain class behavior standards aligned with school policies.
• Use diverse instructional techniques and technologies to support learning.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide progress reports.
• Analyze data to inform instruction and adjustments.
• Refer students to Student Assistance Teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and district policy.
• Support school policies, conduct rules, and classroom procedures.
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues regularly.
• Participate in professional development and maintain professional competence.
• Collaborate with staff and contribute to school culture and community engagement.

Salary and length of contract to be established by the board.

Performance will be evaluated according to the board's policy on personnel evaluation.
