Location: Estherville
This part-time position will assist the Athletic Director and Housing Department with day-to-day operations working 27.5 hours a week. Position located on the Estherville Campus. Applicant must be expected to enroll in a Master's Degree Program at their own expense.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (% OF THE TIME):
Constant (67-100%)
* Assist the athletic director in the day-to-day operations of the athletic program.
* Responsible for Game Management.
* Assist Head Coaches of all programs when needed.
* Transportation of student athletes as assigned.
* Provide coaching support in practices as assigned.
* Housing Assistant - Live on campus and assist with housing events.
* Responsible for dorm supervision and housing office hours.
Frequent (34-66%)
* Assist in compliance.
* Assist with eligibility.
* Assist in maintaining the athletics website.
* Support the creation of press releases.
* Create and manage content for athletic department social media.
* Responsible for student athlete advisory committee.
* Serve on hall of fame committee.
* Assist with budget monitoring and bill paying processes.
Occasional (10-33%)
* Assist with travel arrangements for all programs.
* Responsible for creation of Weight Room and Gym Calendars including staffing & supervision.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL DEMANDS:
Athletic Director Graduate Assistant / Housing Graduate Assistant position involves wide range of motion requirements to demonstrate and teach different techniques to student athletes. Constant (67-100%) reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions and viewing various types of close visual work. Frequent (34-66%) stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and carrying. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds of force frequently.
Must complete Bloodborne Pathogens Training. Will require flexible hours including weekends and evenings. The additional physical demands normally expected of a coach are required. Must have valid driver's license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.
Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required. Experience in a college athletic department preferred. College residential housing/dorm experience a plus.
Salary: $15,000 Annual Stipend (August-May) plus Room and Board
