Summary:

The purpose of this position is to work with students in targeted classes to review notes, discuss readings, develop organizational tools, and prepare for examinations. The length of employment is routinely the academic year (fall and spring terms); however, some work may be performed during the summer as needed.

Job Duties:

* Schedule and hold weekly sessions for each targeted class

* Attend targeted class, take notes, and participate in discussions

* Ascertain course requirements and document for use in SI sessions

Abilities:
Willingness to learn new skills, flexibility to work 8-10 hours per week, be a model

student who understands the importance and application of effective study skills and strategies. Possess good people skills and a helpful attitude, good organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

HS Diploma or equivalent; minimum of B+ or higher in targeted course; have and maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or above.
