We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community in Northwood, Iowa for the school year
. This position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time scheduling and the opportunity to work collaboratively with another special education teacher to support students with moderate to severe needs.

The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape the caseload based on the candidate experience, including the age range, grade level, and caseload size
.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (
  IEPs
  ) for students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Provide differentiated instruction tailored to students learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

• Caseload shared with another Special Education Teacher
• Moderate to severe student needs
• Caseload size, age group, and range can be adjusted based on candidate experience

• Valid Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility)
• Experience working with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
