The school nurse supports the well‑being and educational achievement of PK‑12 students by delivering professional health‑care services, managing medical needs, and fostering a safe, healthy school community.

Qualifications- RN with a baccalaureate degree in nursing
- Current Iowa license
- Knowledge of professional standards (Nurse Practice Act) and other statutes
- Desired: previous experience in a similar position, experience working with children/students, experience working with children/students with varying degrees of health‑care needs

Salary and work year to be established in accordance with provisions of the Comprehensive Agreement.
Performance evaluation in accordance with the Comprehensive Agreement.
Physical RequirementsBending, carrying, climbing, traveling between job sites, lifting, pushing‑pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking.
Working ConditionsIncludes extremes of temperature and humidity; hazards include stairs and communicable diseases.
