West Monona Community School District is seeking High School/Middle School Associates to support special education teachers in providing appropriate instruction and supervision for assigned students.

• Hourly, 10-month position
• Hours:
  
  8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (school days only)

To support special education teachers in creating a structured and supportive learning environment for students.

• High School Diploma required
• Experience working with children in a group setting preferred
• Ability to be flexible, patient, and calm in stressful situations
• Basic computer literacy skills

• Provide instruction and supervision to students under the teacher’s direction
• Supervise students in the lunchroom, media center, school bus, and classroom
• Assist with clerical work and filing as directed
• Support students with health and hygiene needs
• Assist students with behavioral needs as directed by the teacher and principal
• Perform other duties as assigned
