Head Start & Early Head Start Classroom Substitutes

Classroom Substitutes are needed for our Early Head Start & Head Start Programs Positions available at our Council Bluffs, Denison, Harlan, Red Oak, Hastings & Atlantic locations

Would you like to work with children who are 6 weeks to 5 years of age? We are seeking Classroom Substitute Teachers for all WCCA Head Start & Early Head Start Classrooms. Classroom Substitutes fill in for or assist teachers in the classroom.

Classroom Substitutes must have the ability to work with children and families from various cultural, economic & social backgrounds. High School/GED, a current valid driver's license, dependable transportation and current and valid auto liability insurance are required, degree in AA/AS in Early Childhood is preferred.

For location travel, we do have agency vehicles available. Candidates with prior experience working with pre-school children are preferred, but any previous child care experience or infant and toddler teaching experience would be welcomed.
