North Polk High School, located in Alleman, is seeking to hire a special education para educator. An individual must be flexible, collaborative, and willing to learn and grow.

Hours:

7 - 8 hours per day Compensation: $17.82 - 20.11/per hour, depending on certification Benefits:

• Supporting a safe, positive teaching and learning environment.
• Adhering to the Individual Education Plan and maintaining confidentiality regarding student educational programming.
• Assisting in the physical and intellectual development of students.
• Supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students.
• Establishing positive and productive relationships.
• Communicating consistently with teachers, staff, and students.
• Demonstrating ethical and professional standards of conduct.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other staff to ensure best practice and supports are in place for students.
• Participating in professional learning opportunities, as appropriate.
