Independence Jr/Sr High School is seeking the following:
Anticipated Opening:
English/Language Arts Teacher – Grades 9‑12
- 2026‑2027 School Year
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to the teaching assignment.
- Certification/License:
State of Iowa Teaching License - Endorsement(s): 5-12 English/Language Arts (120)
- Prior successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade level is preferred but not required.
Note:
The school district reserves the right to fill any position before the Final date to receive applications. Interviews will start immediately upon receiving viable applicants.
