West Fork CSD is seeking a dynamic and student‑focused Secondary Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and real‑world application of science concepts while building strong relationships with students.

• Deliver engaging, standards‑aligned instruction in secondary science (courses may include Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, or other assigned areas)
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including inquiry‑based and hands‑on learning
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Integrate technology to enhance student learning
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and school improvement
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in school and district initiatives

• Valid Iowa Teaching License with appropriate Science endorsement (or ability to obtain)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

• Endorsements in multiple science areas
• Experience with STEM, project‑based learning, or career‑connected education
• Coaching Positions Available:
  Head Boys Basketball, MS Boys Basketball
